This is the very last moment frozen by my beloved Nikon 551 on self-timer before the lens retracted because of flat battery, causing the camera to lose its balance on the rock and slid right into the cold river, tailed by a loud shrieking of "Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!" from the girls.

When I sent the camera to Nikon to be repaired, they told me that the lens are damaged because of sand exposure and need to be replaced, and this would cost me a dear RM513.

Hoh??! Masalahnya gua beli kamera tu pun RM750 je beb,,bukan kamera canggih-canggih apa pun..now if I had to fork out another RM513 (which makes about 68% of harga pembelian asal),,might as well I just go buy a shiny new one! So I told Nikon not to repair and I'll just collect it back later.

Tapi sebenarnya gua sayang kamera tuu...huhuhuhuhuuh...kerana walaupun ia cuma kamera yang simple dan biasa-biasa saja, it did quite a good job for someone who is a technicality-idiot and terlalu malas untuk menggodek gadget yang dimiliki, like myself. I like it for its simplicity, and I love it because it's handy; mudah untuk mengambil gambar di mana-mana saja.

This is the second time my camera was broken, as my previous Kodak which I also loved dearly pun rosak sebab terhentak dengan haversack yang sarat dan berat on our way back from Belum.

Haih..ada-adaaaaa je...

Nak tunggu occassion apa pulak ni nak jadi penyebab beli kamera baru??
